Job Description
The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) is seeking a Division Manager for the Divisional Support team supporting the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR). This Manager should have in-depth knowledge of the current and up-and-coming trends in the IT field and be highly proficient in the discipline of database administration, project management, technical and administrative support, software development and team development. To be successful, you will need to be highly analytical and professional, and possess effective communication skills and excellent organizational skills. The selected candidate will serve as a full-line supervisor with experience managing Database Administrators, Project Managers, System Architects, technical and administrative support personnel, and customer/user relationships while collaborating with Program Areas, local DoIT teams, and Enterprise DoIT teams. Term Appointment:
Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive four-year terms at the Director of the Department of Innovation and Technology’s discretion.
