Under direction, this position will independently conduct and process confidential written background check requests to provide determination of abuse and neglect. The position will also answer phone calls and review various documents and forms containing complex, confidential information. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested in playing a supporting role in the Department’s call operations. Job Responsibilities
- Serves as Production Control Unit Worker.
- Answers phones on the Child Abuse Hotline, directing calls, taking, and relaying messages.
- Reviews various SCR documents and forms containing complex, confidential information.
- Processes requests for case consolidation/deletion and CPD logs, analyzing complex problematic situations.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
- Requires 2 years of office experience.
- Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 wpm.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires ability to pass a background check.
- Requires ability to work mandatory overtime.
