Barista/Cashier

Customer Experience:

• Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates.
• Actively work to increase customer traffic and sales through sampling, suggestive selling, along with other initiatives as directed by caffè bar leadership.
• Be passionate about coffee, food and creating hospitality experiences.

• Present a warm welcoming atmosphere by modelling friendly, respectful, and business appropriate communication with colleagues and guests and by always maintaining a clean and well-groomed personal appearance.
• Respond proactively to prevent guest service situations from escalating.

Teamwork:

• Work interactively as a team to seamlessly serve selections of coffees and food offerings.
• Be dependable and consistent so your team can always rely on you to be punctual, looking sharp in accordance with the uniform policy and with your best self out front.
• Support the team in keeping the caffè running smoothly and beautifully. Tasks to achieve this include clearing and washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, equipment care, cleaning, and organization of condiment station, and taking out trash.

Daily Operations:

• Accurately ring sales orders into POS system and follow all cash handling guidelines to protect illy stakeholder’s assets.
• Maintain a meticulously clean and tidy caffè bar environment through regular cleaning, stocking, and organizing.
• Restock shelves, cabinets, and cupboards when necessary.
• Routinely clean tables, restrooms, floors windows, condiment stations, coffee related equipment and empty trash bins.
• Assist in the distribution of deliveries and maintain a clean and organized storage room.
• Conduct daily quality control checks such as completion of temperature logs, proper dating and correct planogram displays.
• Follow all food and safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour
