Maintenance Coordinator

• We currently have a vacancy for a Facilities Coordinator for either the 2nd or 3rd shift.
• We are looking for candidates with a strong background in the following areas : Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) & RoboticsHydraulics & PneumaticsRepairing production machinery

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for overseeing repairs, projects, preventive and predictive maintenance. They will also be responsible for managing plant services, utilities, the maintenance of the building, janitorial equipment, and security needs.

This position is based at our facility in Jackson, TN .

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate the maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery, and support equipment, as well as plan all scheduled repairs.
• Supervise all members of the Maintenance Shift Team, including temporary cleaning staff.
• Manage and supervise storeroom operations.
• Oversee all plant emergencies, including fires, storm damage, chemical spills, and major mechanical failures.
• Supervise and manage all machinery improvement projects.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
• Create and implement training programs.
• Establish Safety and Environmental Improvement programs.
• Ensure that maintenance projects and repairs are completed in a timely, high-quality, and safe manner.
• Maintain records of time worked and work orders.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree ( or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university; or a combination of education and experience that equates to at least five years in a related field.

A degree is not mandatory.

• Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, as well as troubleshooting skills, are desired.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is a must.
