- This role is responsible for creating, monitoring, and managing the master production schedule for assigned value streams to ensure successful execution of production plans
- Analyze material loading and scheduling to optimize machine efficiency, setups, and inventory levels, and ensure timely and complete order fulfillment
- Distribute and verify daily and weekly schedules and plans to ensure compliance
- Balance inventory and machine order levels to achieve on-time and complete order fulfillment
- Meet on-time delivery goals and consistently meet customer needs
- Maintain inventory accuracy through efficient inventory management practices, including cycle counts and verification of raw materials shipment / receipt
- Communicate all schedules and changes affecting product flow to relevant personnel
- Ensure effective and professional inter-company communication
- Positively influence individuals at all levels within the organization to support department goals
- Demonstrate knowledge of capacities, cycles, and bottlenecks for the value streams
- Utilize knowledge of material flow and product types to optimize performance
- Become highly knowledgeable in scheduling and inventory systems and tools to represent the voice of the customer on the plant floor
- Able to handle backup work from other Production Schedulers
- Align actions with the department's vision, mission, and values
- Regularly utilize lean tools and daily management systems to identify and address problems
