As a Manager at Image Fitness, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and motivating environment for our members. You will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the gym, overseeing staff, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial in driving membership growth and enhancing the gym's reputation in the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage gym staff, including trainers, front desk personnel, and cleaning staff.
Provide coaching, support, and ongoing feedback to staff to ensure they deliver exceptional service.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Member Experience & CRM Management
Utilize gym management software to track member interactions, feedback, billing, and membership management.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall member experience based on CRM data, including personalized communications and programming.
Address member concerns, feedback, and suggestions promptly and professionally.
Proactively engage with members to build relationships and understand their fitness goals.
Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations, including facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness.
Manage gym schedules, class programming, and trainer availability to optimize facility usage and member engagement.
Monitor and maintain inventory of gym products, supplies, and equipment.
Sales & Marketing
Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
Drive membership sales through effective promotions, tours, and membership sign-up processes.
Financial Management
Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and manage the gym's budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures as needed to achieve profitability goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in gym management, fitness, or a related industry.
Proficiency in using social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer-focused with a passion for health and fitness.
Proficiency in fitness equipment operation and basic maintenance.
Sales and marketing experience is a plus.
Fundamental understanding of facility services.
Must possess exceptional multitasking skills and thrive in a busy atmosphere but also versatile and able to stay proactive and engaged even during slower periods.
Willing to go above and beyond.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, some holidays and special events.
Current/valid CPR/AED, First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
