Responsibilities & Qualifications
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist - Bilingual Spanish to join our growing healthcare services team in Phoenix, AZ!
The Human Resources Generalist will be the sole person overseeing all local HR requirements such as Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Associate Engagement, Community Giving, Recruiting and Safety and Compliance.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday days
PAY: $65K-$75K bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Corporate Human Resources team
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all business and people-related information
- Responsible for completing new hire, termination and payroll change paperwork for all new employees
- Recruit and hire hourly workers
- Ensure all employee-related associate engagement activities are completed on a weekly basis
- Responsible for maintaining the local Community Giving program; ensure community giving activities are planned and coordinated to include all associates
- Disseminate benefit packets to monthly eligible employees and assist in completing paperwork; turn in benefit paperwork on employee’s behalf to Corporate HR for processing
- Assist Corporate HR with annual Benefits Open Enrollment process
- Responsible for all Leave of Absence administration, including FMLA, PLOA and MLOA
- Serves as the on-site workers comp coordinator responsible for ensuring the appropriate paperwork for a workman’s compensation/accident claim is completed and submitted to insurance company and corporate team in a timely manner
- Ensure the performance management process is being followed for attendance and performance related areas
- Ensure employee relations concerns are investigated and handled in a timely manner
- Maintain associate safety files
- Maintain the OSHA Log
- Assist in the compliance of our safety program with the Production Leadership team
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be bilingual Spanish
- Minimum of 5 years' of experience overseeing Human Resources
- Minimum of High School Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Payroll experience is preferred but not required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
