The Creative Content & Production Lead is a role that requires creativity, exceptional written communication, organization, a justice lens and an ability to translate mixed methods research and community engagement insights into powerful, beautiful interactive content. You are a storyteller at heart - a digital organizer who can harness the power of narrative change. You are a creative writer who loves research, and can turn community genius into stunningly produced pieces that drive us faster towards the new future that’s being born now.

You don’t create thought pieces, documents and prototypes for the sake of producing them (though you’re certainly adept in those skills); instead, you’re focused on building a vibrant movement that centers the voices of the new majority. You revel in the creative process but you also can drive multiple projects to completion on deadline with partners and vendors, too. You are the first to identify, grasp and use new and emerging technology to tell the best, most captivating stories.

The Creative Content & Production Lead can understand the nuanced voice of human genius and translate that voice in a way that is accessible, not academic. You know the difference between simple communication and simplistic communication - and you can make tough topics feel easy to digest. This role will be incredibly creative and fast-paced. You are prepared to roll-up your sleeves and get messy trying to understand the needs and desires of our ideal clients (bold, intersectional leaders ready to make big change in the world). You seep yourself across communities and and others’ points of view in order to show the world how centering the voices of those who have been pushed to the margins will lead to genius solutions - every single time.

This role may be based in Minnesota or remote with up to 10% travel, and reports to the Founder and CEO.

As the Creative Content & Production Lead, this is what your role looks like:

  • Driving Imagine Deliver’s content strategy with applied narrative change and digital organizing skills
  • Producing original content and spearheading thought capital creation for all existing and future platforms (website, learning platform, newsletter, social media channels, thought capital, white papers, podcasts, blog posts, etc) in collaboration with Managing Director and research and consulting colleagues
  • Building new thought capital pathways (webinars, podcasts, learning tools) and proliferating that content publicly
  • Mining data and producing fresh learning
  • Crafting logical presentation narratives to illustrate equity-centered insights that inform client strategy
  • Comprehensive project management that oversees project details, tracks timelines and ensures current deliverables are on-time
  • Creating and managing an overarching content direction calendar that informs timeline for all content
  • Managing company communications and social media in partnership with marketing and communications vendors
  • Supporting business development and networking activities on behalf of the company, including participating in pipeline development, proposal writing and delivery

This role is broken down as follows:

  • 60% storytelling, narrative and content development
  • 20% creative research, qualitative and quantitative
  • 20% creative direction and project management

The details:

  • Equitable salary and benefits. We are committed to fair compensation, pay equity and salary transparency. This role is a full-time salaried position.

Base salary

This role, at this level, is ranged from $60,000- $80,000 in yearly base salary. We target the median salary ($70,000 for this role) for new hires.

Bonus structure

Sales Bonus: You’ll get 5% of any sale you bring in the door

Annual Bonus: this role is subject to a 10% annual bonus depending upon firm profitability and annual revenue targets

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years experience in a professional setting, with agency experience or in journalism, marketing, consumer insights, online engagement, human-centered design or other.
  • Fluency and comfort with concepts of intersectionality, justice and narrative change
  • Proven experience in project management

Imagine Deliver hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday CST. ‘On time’ for Imagine Deliver means within 5 minutes of estimated arrival for internal meetings and 10 minutes early for the client. You are available to work some evenings and weekends as those may be needed based on client engagement needs.
