Chief Financial Officer

Our business consists of a $70MM office products and services division and a $30MM world-renowned Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP). For 66 years, we have been helping clients run their businesses more securely and more efficiently.

We are in search of an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strategic leadership skills who can guide the organization into the future, ensuring we are well positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact, either directly or via staff, for cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, driving the company’s financial strategy and helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position.

This seasoned strategist will understand current accounting practices and trends and, as a member of the Executive Team, will be comfortable and skilled in a key leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, either directly or via staff, of cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, financial reporting, and hiring needs of the Accounting & Finance areas of the company.
• Coordinate the annual operating, capital, and department budgets, as well as reporting for the same.
• Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, cross-team communications, and efficient workflows.
• Ensure compliance with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.

• Collaborate with senior managers to efficiently develop budgets and provide access to, and analysis of, departmental finance information.
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
• Provide risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting or finance and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in an Executive-level financial leadership role, including experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve, personal integrity, and exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
