We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Intern in our Missoula, MT office. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for…. Scope Assisting Project Engineers, Designers and the Construction team. The internship will provide hands-on experience working with our team on the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure for municipalities and state agencies. Typical projects include site/land development, roadway and traffic improvements, drainage and stormwater design, and utility improvements (water distribution and sanitary sewer). All of these are done in accordance with IMEG design standards. Principal Responsibilities Working under close supervision with Land Surveyors, Construction Inspectors, Engineers, and Design Technicians Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts Document scanning Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and interact with all project stakeholders Previous experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation or ArcGIS is desired Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word) Valid driver’s license is required Education and Experience Completed Sophomore year towards bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Prior internship experience with Civil Engineering Design, Construction Observation or Land Survey a plus This position is not eligible for sponsorship What are you waiting for?
