Scope
The Human Resources Coordinator, M&A is responsible for supporting the daily Human Resources function for IMEG Mergers & Acquisition teams.
Principal Responsibilities
Assists in the coordination and communication of company policies and procedures, employee benefits and pay, and employment laws
Communicates regularly with employees and management to ensure understanding and compliance
Assists in the implementation of M&A process related to onboarding and integration of newly acquired teams and staff
Administer benefits and leave programs for assigned employee groups
Aids in the maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS) records and compiles reports from the database
Coordinates new hire orientation
Supports employee engagement and communication efforts
Provides assistance with new hire recruiting
Recommends improvement opportunities with processes, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the Human Resources team and services performed
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
May assist with employee development and employee relations matters
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products; familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS) and/or the ability to quickly learn computer applications
Ability to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays preferred
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
A minimum of two years human resources experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
