Job Description Summary
- Perform general labor work to support the production of Wollastonite.
- Laborer is an entry level position. Tasks for a laborer vary from production support, maintenance support, cleaning and other tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Fully supports location health, safety, environmental and quality programs (HSEQ) by participating in their implementation, maintenance and enforcement as well as compliance with corporate programs and policies.
- Plant cleanup
- Bagging and stacking finished product
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing and pulling
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Repetitive physical activity
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
SPECIFIC ASPECTS
Able to work rotating shifts each week
Pre-employment physical including alcohol and drug screen required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.53 per hour
