What are the responsibilities and job description for the Criminal Defense Attorney position at Imhoff & Associates, PC?

Criminal defense law firm seeking zealous attorney interested in making an additional income by joining our firm as an independent contractor.

  • Flat fees are mutually agreed to based on the facts and circumstances of each case
  • Additional fees are paid for substantive motions, contested hearings, and trial days
  • Extraordinary fees available for cases that become time-intensive
  • Case Manager assigned to each case to assist as client liaisons

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney with five years of experience
  • No misconduct and in good standing with the State Bar
  • Act ethically at all times and exhibit professionalism while zealously defending clients
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain professional while dealing with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Excellent knowledge of computers and software, including MS Word, MS Excel, PDF Editing Software, Practice Management Software.
  • Prior experience working collaboratively with others to develop and implement action plans.
  • Ability to think critically about each potential case, identifying strengths/weaknesses as well as causes of action and potential themes.
  • Ability to handle cases independently from intake to trial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $400.00 per hour
