Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will use their passion for marketing and communications to help drive growth across our Life Science business, which includes areas such as medical devices, diagnostic, biotechnologies, and analytical instrumentation.

 

Work Location: Palmer, MA (hybrid, 2-3 days per week on-site)

 

Key Responsibilities

Events/Exhibitions: 60%

  • Plan and ensure the smooth running of the Division’s participation in conferences and exhibitions from registration to the preparation of the booths (incl. booth design, marketing collaterals, coordinating product demos, etc.).
  • Full logistics/shipment management for goods and for colleagues attending exhibitions (e.g., planning, booking, following up with transport company, return of material, accommodation, etc.).
  • Lead promotional activities to ensure excellent pre-exhibition customer engagement (incl. supporting the design of materials, preparing mailing lists, supporting paid and organic social media campaigns, etc.).
  • Coordinate the work of the internal graphic design team to prepare the event materials (layouts, roll ups, brochures, etc.).
  • Gather feedback and compile post-exhibition reports (incl.  customer engagement, participating colleagues’ feedback, lead management activities, etc.) which are used to inform future exhibition strategies.
  • Budget management (incl. tracking spend against budget).

Marketing Activities: 40%

  • Support all Life Science marketing activities (incl. digital marketing campaigns, content creation, supporting improved customer insights and engagement across all areas).
  • Support the creation of all Life Science content (incl. web content, product specs, brochures, and campaign assets).
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Assist collaboration with other departments to develop cross-functional strategies.
  • Implement corporate brand identity guidelines in all marketing activities.
  • Local site support for content creation.

 

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Successfully completed studies in marketing communication or a comparable commercial apprenticeship.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B industrial applications (preferably in life science or related fields), managing events.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and creative problem solving.
  • Possess a strong sense of personal initiative, proactivity, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of CRM platforms (e.g., SalesForce, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Very good command of current standard software (MS Office)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud a plus (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex information concisely.
  • A demonstrated interest in working in a global environment.
  • Excellent adaptation skills and the ability to re-focus and reprioritize whenever needed.
