What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst (iMIS EMS) position at iMIS Users Group?
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) is committed todeveloping an industry-leading digital workplace. With that goal in mind, weare adding a new position to our IT team to support our staff of 70 employees andover 23,000 members. The new Business Analyst will serve as the organization’sprimary resource for our association management system (iMIS EMS) by translatingorganizational needs, building dynamic dashboards, implementing automation andefficiencies, and providing data support and validation. The BusinessAnalyst will report to the Senior Manager of IT and will serve as the mainpoint of contact to all organization departments for discussions regarding theiMIS EMS. The Business Analyst will bring their expertise to the table duringour upgrade process and throughout the deep dive into our data and businessprocesses. This role will help the entire organization fully leverage the iMISEMS and strive for continuous improvement. The Business Analyst will have flexibilitywith GFOA’s hybrid work environment and should plan to be in the Chicago office2 to 3 days a week.
