Immaculate Heart of Mary School (Towson MD) is looking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse. The nurse will work closely with the school community to maintain a healthy environment.
Essential Functions:
- Provide first aid, medical care, and emergency care services to students, faculty and staff
- Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students’ physicians
- Assist in the collection and management of health forms
- Create and maintain documentation of all encounters, assessments, and interventions
- Serve as liaison between students, teachers, and families in regard to health concerns
Position Qualifications:
- Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Nursing experience in a grade school setting
- Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better
