Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Experience/Qualifications:
· Computer skills including experience with inventory management systems
· Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting and verifying items
· Problem solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
· Knowledge of export regulations and procedures a plus
· Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team – position will interact with multiple operational and regulatory units
· Good time management skills.
· Ability to stand for 8hours shift and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
· 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse / shipping position for Clerk I position
· 4-6 years of experience in a warehouse / shipping position for Clerk II position along with experience in: computerized inventory control system, international shipping, freight forwarding, regulatory and quality knowledge.
Summary of Position:
Individuals serving in this position will be responsible for the timely and accurate assembly of products for specific orders, printing labels, pick/ packing and shipping of orders and receiving of materials.
Job Duties/Key Responsibilities:
1. Pick product from inventory to fill order carefully verifying identifying information and quantities. Compare items picked to customer order and pack order according to requirements. Create invoice for customer.
2. Create and apply shipping label using computerized UPS / FedEx system. Schedule shipments via proper carriers according to established guidelines to ensure that delivery is made by promised dates.
3. Receive and unload incoming materials: open, inspect, and compare quantities shown on packing slips / invoice to actual items received and on original purchase order.
4. Note back orders / missing items. Inspect items according to instructions; report damaged goods to supervisor; and arrange for any necessary returns.
5. Enter receipt of goods into computerized inventory system.
6. Deliver materials to appropriate department.
7. Assemble components into kits as needed for orders or stock replenishment.
8. Use a high level of detail, following packaging procedures.
9. Use the inventory management system to manage inventory actions.
10. Proper label printing as required by established policies and procedures (both operational and quality)
11. Control of OEM and Immco label stock.
12. Track and count physical inventory to match MAS (inventory system) and make specific adjustments so product in hand matches computerized inventory.
13. MAS troubleshooting and adjustments in the form of dis-assemblies, manual production entries and inventory adjustment requests.
14. Proper record keeping.
15. Maintenance of a clean and organized work area.
16. Adherence to quality systems with special regard to ISO 9000/13485 and GMP / OSHA compliance.
17. Assistance with other areas of production whenever necessary and where qualified or trained.
18. Facilitate the improvement or modification of existing processes through both recommendation of and participation in quarterly Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
19. Acts, under the direction of the logistics supervisor, to implement improvements to the distribution system.
20. Reconciles computer records with physical inventory according to established schedule.
21. Miscellaneous duties within the department when needed.
22. Data entry into inventory management software.
23. Report shortage of product to specific departments to avoid delays with future orders.
