The Label Control Technician works under the direction of  Packaging Department Lead.  This person would be responsible for maintaining of all Label Production equipment. Labeling Control Technician (Manufacturing / Packaging)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Label Control Technician include:

• Responsible for overseeing the preparation of existing reagent, kit and strip labels for ELISA, Molecular, and Bead-based products.
• Responsible to follow and promote the use and recognition of safety measures required by Immucor.
• Responsible for maintenance of all Label Production equipment.
• Must be able to maintain own training log.
• Must be able to manage time sensitive tasks.
• Assures security and control of labels and label files.
• Responsible for receipt and inspection of product literature produced off site. 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assists with kit assemblies and labeling as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Label Control Technician include:

• High School Diploma OR GED (General Education Diploma), required
• Experience working in a packaging environment, preferred
• Experience with CodeSoft software and label making equipment preferred.
