Our client, a leading force in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cycle Counter on 2nd shift for direct hire.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular physical cycle counts and reconcile these with system totals to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of inventory transactions and effectively communicate any discrepancies that cause variances between physical inventory and system records.
- Utilize computer skills to enter and retrieve data from ERP and network systems, supporting inventory management processes.
- Uphold the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Train and lead teams in cycle counting, auditing, and conducting physical inventories, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Create and distribute detailed transaction and accounting reports as requested, aiding in the transparency and accuracy of inventory records.
- Willingly take instructions, rapidly learn job functions, and become familiar with the plant's layout and organization for efficient operations.
- Handle additional duties and special assignments with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in cycle counting, inventory management, or a similar role within the manufacturing sector, preferably automotive.
- Competency in using ERP and network systems for data entry and retrieval.
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and the ability to apply them in a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and the physical layout of the plant.
Preferences :
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and report on inventory-related matters effectively.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies between physical inventories and system records.
- Leadership experience, particularly in training and guiding teams in inventory processes.
