Job description

Responsibilities: Inspect parts through defined intervals assuring quality product. Gage calibrations, specific tasks assigned including gage R&R, capability studies, & CMM inspections. Provide training to other employees on gage use and care. Complete audits of material, products, and processes.

Job Duties

  • Verify incoming and receiving.
  • Conduct set up approval.
  • Assist in required studies off PPAP submissions.
  • Ensure shipping documentation is filled out completely and accurately.
  • Conduct Audit inspections.
  • Assist in gage calibration and maintenance.
  • Operate CMM programs.
  • Conduct gage training for use and care.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read an interpret blueprints.
  • Inspection and CMM knowledge.
  • General understanding of gage calibration, usage, verification, and cleaning.
  • General knowledge of GD&T, dimensional metrology, and layout.
  • Computer literate including knowledge of Microsoft Zeiss software.

Special Circumstances

  • Must be available to work flexible hours and on-call hours as needed.

Essential Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, squat, twist, and bend to file.

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifting up to ten pounds
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks. Starting wage of $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

We offer 3 full-time rotating shifts, with employees working three 12-hour shifts per week but the potential to earn 4 hours extra of pay as long as the employee works their 3 shifts in their entirety. C-Shift employees work Monday through Wednesday each week, 5:00PM-5:00AM.
