Wadley Construction is hiring an Equipment Coordinator to join our team of construction professionals! Your knowledge of construction equipment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project staff to determine equipment needs and ensure timely availability
- Negotiate rental prices with equipment providers and seek cost-saving opportunities
- Efficiently coordinate equipment moves between project sites
- Monitor and schedule equipment service and maintenance to prevent downtime
- Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and process payments
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including small tools
- Monitor fuel volume and costs, implementing strategies for fuel efficiency
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in equipment coordination or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rental terms
- Proficiency in record-keeping and inventory management
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance schedules and processes
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams and vendors
