Job description
As a Print Press Operator, you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses used in various printing processes. This role involves ensuring the accurate and efficient printing of materials such as newspapers, magazines, packaging, or promotional materials, meeting quality standards and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Press Setup:
Configure and set up the printing press based on job specifications, including selecting the appropriate plates, inks, and paper.
Adjust press settings for color, registration, and print quality.
Operation:
Operate printing presses during production runs, monitoring print quality and making adjustments as needed.
Load and unload paper or other printing substrates.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Make adjustments to maintain color consistency and clarity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various printing processes, including screen printing, lithography, and flexography
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in operating machinery such as forklifts or other material handling equipment
