Essential Job Functions :
- This is a trainee opportunity
- Install, test, and service fire sprinkler systems
- Cut and thread pipe and manage material
- Assist in the installation of valves, couplings, and other fittings
- Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment
- Learn construction project skills, including reading blue prints
- Overhead lifting, ladder climbing, scissor lift work in addition to lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Drive Foreman to and from job projects.
Job Qualifications :
- Basic mechanical and math skills
- Must exhibit the initiative to learn the skills of the trade
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Clean driving record
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
