Chief Executive Officer

One of the leading healthcare companies dedicated to inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute services is looking for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer. This is a critical leadership position responsible for providing operational oversight and strategic development initiatives for their facilities located in Pasco, WA and Kennewick, WA.

The successful candidate must exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance, skilled in the application of policies and procedures, and knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

This position can either be based in Kennewick, WA or Pasco, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and oversees hospital operations to ensure corporate objectives are attained including the company's quality initiatives and service line development. 
• Develops short and long-term objectives, policies, and procedures while ensuring that these are uniformly understood and consistently interpreted and implemented.
• Maintains accreditation and licensure standards of The Joint Commission (TJC) on accreditation of hospital organizations, state licensure, insurance and regulatory agencies, and similar organizations.
• Ensures operating results meet committed targets and established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to address unsatisfactory performance.
  
• Initiates efforts to further expand operation and market reach, improve service capabilities, improve efficiencies, and ultimately attain set profitability targets. 

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Management or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of broad range experience in hospital operations, including 5 years in a CEO role.
• Must have a background in acute care.
• Strong organizational communication skills with the ability to handle broad-based complex information with company-wide impact.
• Comfortable dealing with diverse audiences including senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrates high degree of organizational independent judgement and planning to set direction and vision for the departments, establish priorities, policies, allocate resources and delegate project assignments.
