Design Engineer

Position Overview: MechanicalDesign Engineer specializing in product line innovations, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product offerings. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for creating cutting-edge designs and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Innovative Product Design:
• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative product solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Utilize a combination of creativity and technical expertise to bring fresh perspectives to the product line.
2. Cross-Department Collaboration:
• Lead, drive, and support collaborative efforts between various departments, including research, engineering, tooling, and manufacturing.
• Ensure seamless communication throughout all phases of the product development life cycle, from initial ideation to product launch.
3. Problem Resolution and Coordination:
• Identify and address development and design challenges by coordinating closely with research, engineering, tooling, and manufacturing teams.
• Implement effective solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project milestones are achieved.
4. Vendor Collaboration:
• Coordinate efforts with external vendors and sources, leveraging their expertise, resources, and assistance to enhance the product development process.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
5. Adherence to Core Values:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proven experience in product design and development, with a focus on innovation.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design software.
•  Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome design challenges.

·           Additional Preferred Qualifications

·         1.       Master degree in Mechanical Engineering

·         2.       Experience with HVAC product design and adequate use of manufacturing standards preferred.
