Electronic Engineer | Electrical Engineer | Pulsed Power Supply | HV Circuit Design

Hands-on with full lifecycle product development. From concept to customer sign-off and support. See your work and ideas take shape and build to a successful delivery to multiple industries. 

Join the technical engineering team to support applied R&D on the next-generation pulsed power supply. In an R&D prototyping environment and production facility.

You will:
  • Become an SME to lead applied research programs and product development in either of these areas. 
  • Serve as a supporting researcher and/or principal investigator for SBIR/STTR projects. 
  • Coordinate with university and corporate partners, develop test plans, guide experimentation, perform data analysis, present at technical conferences and publications, and demonstrate technical leadership to guide product and market development.

Salary: based on experience & education

Location: East Central, IL - Champaign area – Relocation Assistance Available

·        FULL TIME / DIRECT HIRE / ON-SITE POSITION

·        Access to multiple large cities and 4 major Universities, within 1 hour drive

·        2 /- hours to Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN

Skills - Knowledge - Experience
Bachelor's Degree with industrial experience, 3 years or more
·        In circuit design, layout and BOM tools, such as Altium/KiCAD
·        Work with or interface with mechanical design, such as SolidWorks
·        Need:

•        High voltage SiC or GaN power electronics

•        LCR design

•        Noise immunity and simulations through LT SPICE (or equivalent)

·        Hands-on with:

•        High-voltage test equipment

•        Diagnostic tools

•        Electrical schematics

•        Mechanical drawings

Highly Desirable

  • Masters Degree Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Switched-mode DC power Supplies
  • HV design >205kVdc
  • MW-class pulsed power and circuit design
  • Analog/digital communications and controls
  • PVD coatings, plasma etching, or thin-film processing techniques, e.g. capability to operate plasma processing equipment
