IT Auditor

Job Duties:

Reporting functionally to the Board and administratively to the CFO, the members of the Internal Audit function provide assurance and consulting services that bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The IT Internal Auditor independently plans and executes assurance and consulting engagements in accordance with Company Internal Audit Methodology and Policy Guidelines. The role works independently, executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving and delivering recommendations.

The IT Internal Auditor should demonstrate an understanding of IT general controls, IT risk management, information security, and IT process areas. This role will be responsible to help with IT SOX audits and IT operational audits, including performing risk assessments, developing audit scope and audit programs, executing audit programs, and working independently.

This is an in office role located downtown Phoenix.

Requirements:  
 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, accounting or similar field

·         Assist in conducting IT audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of information systems controls.

·         Review and assess IT general controls, application controls, and security controls.

·         Build and maintain relationships with key business partners throughout the company.

·         Assist department management in developing a comprehensive audit program and in the planning and scheduling of IT Audit activities.

·         Support the preparation of clear and concise audit reports to communicate findings to management.

·         Support special projects and special investigations.

·         Execute consulting engagements with guidance                          

·         1-3 years of public accounting, and/or internal audit experience in information technology, auditing, or related fields.

·         Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley control testing

·         Excellent verbal and written communication

·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

·         Strong analytical, deductive, and problem-solving skills

·         Familiarity with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management frameworks.
