Job Title: Project Manager
Department: Sales and Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of Insulation projects. Project manager will schedule daily and long-term tasks to complete projects in a timely manner. Will oversee, organize, and direct insulation crews. PM will run reports, answer emails/phone calls, place orders, update job numbers, ensure safety regulations are in place and followed, and at times work with the insulation crew. PM is also responsible for reporting (through him, or his designees) project metrics to the site management team in compliance with the contractual requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in procuring clientele, estimating projects, and managing these projects from start to finish
Assist in planning and implementation of projects
Delivering projects on-time, within scope and budget
Facilitate the definition of project scope, tasks, resource requirements and goals
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation
Ensure process to obtain authorization for extra work (Change Orders) is followed per the site contract
Assemble, provide direction, and support project team
Assist in measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs
Assist in conducting project evaluation and assessment of results
Assist in supervision of field employees
Assist in holding Subcontractors and Vendors accountable for completed work consistent with company standards
Education and Experience
Demonstrated success in project execution using computerized and manual project management control, scheduling, and planning systems
Efficiency using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, products, and computer-based maintenance systems, interpreting specifications and drawings.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, company employees
Reports project status and performance data as required to the appropriate departments and Senior Leadership
