As the Quality Manager you will work in a state-of-the-art facility and be a part of global footprint in developing, manufacturing, and marketing specialty ingredients that improve and enhance the health and well-being of life on the planet and the finest quality products for a range of industries worldwide. You will oversee a smaller facility with one of the best labs, most beautiful facility and location. The company consists of three business segments: Human Nutrition & Health; Animal Nutrition & Health; and Specialty Products., employs over 1,400 people worldwide who are engaged in diverse activities, committed to developing the company into global market leadership positions.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Manager has overall responsibility for the food safety, quality and efficiency of products manufactured at the site, responsible for all quality functions and oversight of the QC testing and product release. Responsibilities include oversight of the inspection of raw materials and finished products to determine conformance to approved specifications.
Requirements:
- 4-year Degree; preferably in a health science field
- 5-7 years’ experience in quality; preferably in food or nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals, feed industry.
- Business acumen
- In-depth knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements;
- C skills (MS Office, database management)
- Analytical and mathematical skills and applications
- Strong communication skills (speaking, listening, writing); articulate and quick thinker
- Presentation skills
- Attention to detail; multi-tasking skills; excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a rapidly changing, fluid environment.
- Travel less than 10% or as needed.
