SUMMARY
The Regional HSE Specialist is responsible for assisting, training, leading the workforce of Imperative based of directives from the Risk and HSE department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Input and manage incidents and inspections and trainings in Vector solutions
- Uploaded all training into Kronos and Vector Solutions based off trainings done by the HSE team
- Help gather information and organize it all into needed files
- Assist in organization of safety meetings
- Assist HR Legal with any new MSA that comes on. (COI, Safety Manuals, Questionnaires)
- Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Imperative’s assets / facilities
- Inspections, audits, assessments, and safety meetings
- Risk identification, analysis, and assessments
- Assist in the development and deployment of HSE initiatives
- Develop a strong safety culture within the workforce
- Provide direction, leadership, safety data interpretation, and technical assistance.
- Inspection of Vehicles, Yards, facilities, and Jobsites
- Take a proactive approach to immediately correct unsafe acts conditions and/or at-risk behaviors
- Provide recommendations to improve the health safety and environmental conditions or the Vehicles, operations, yards, and jobsites
- Provide recommendations for incident preventions
- Provide guidance to all employees within safe work practices
- Perform incident investigations/reporting
- Assist employees with task risk assessments
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance to anyone requiring medical aid
- Assist Fleet and D.O.T. functions as needed or required
- All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch
- Frequently required to move up to 10 lbs.
- Occasionally must push, pull, move, or lift up to 10 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms
