Accounts Receivable Support

Overview

P & R Paper, a divison of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor has a position open in our Redlands location. We are looking for a motivated person who is looking to grow with a great company that is hiring to keep up with a continually expanding customer base.

The Accounts Receivable Support is responsible for reconciling customer accounts, monitoring the aging of account balances, credit approve open orders, and working with customers to collect payments with the goal of retaining the account, while keeping them within their payment terms and reducing bad debt expense.

Responsibilities

You will: 

• Credit approves open orders
• Contact customers to resolve past due invoices
• Collect unpaid COD invoices
• Prepare statements
• Resoldve payment discepancies
• Review and resolve short payments
• Apply credits/unapplied cash
• Resolve invoice discrepancies (Price, sales tax, qty, delivery issues, etc.)
• Research and prepare credit requests
• Assist drivers with delivery issues
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

You have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Office (outlook, word, and excel)
• Excellent phone and email communication
• Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
• Collections: 2 years (Preferred)

Salary: $20.00/Hourly

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
