The team is looking for experienced Inbound Logistics Coordinator for our Nashville, TN operation. This position will be responsible for optimizing inbound freight scheduling, communicating with Vendors and AP&T supply chain, communicating with internal departments, assist all receiving functions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys working as a team and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position’s standard hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities
You will:
- Coordinate and optimize third party carrier schedules with labor allocations and efficiencies.
- Load, track, and maintain Advance Shipment Notices (ASN).
- Experience with scheduling systems.
- Implement and enforce the company’s carrier accountability guidelines with third party carriers.
- Be the point of contact for internal departments, i.e., Account Support and Purchasing on ETAs of product.
- Be the point of contact for carriers and vendors for scheduling appointments and changes to appointments.
- Expedite inbound orders when necessary.
Qualifications
You have:
- Experience receiving small package freight (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Ensuring packing list information is correct and/or notifying the purchasing department to address discrepancies or issues.
- Provide safety leadership for receiving dock operations.
- Consistently at work on time.
- Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip, and lift merchandise.
- Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs., pull 2200 lbs. using a pallet jack, and pull or push 200 lbs. using a two-wheeler.
- Experience with the wholesale distribution environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Task oriented with the ability to follow up until completion
- 3-5 years’ work experience preferably in receiving, inbound logistics or supply chain expediting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
