Position Description:
This position is responsible to set up and operate CNC Burn Table (Messer) machine to cut and perform other machining operations on steel in the manufacturing of parts for industrial silos and commercial tanks. A steady hand, natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude and an outstanding attention to detail are recommended, as well as performing all other duties assigned.
Responsibilities:
This position requires measuring and the ability to read and understand blueprints.
Set up burn table by determining operation sequence and adjust machine to perform proper cutting/burning of plate.
Safely operate equipment such as CNC burn table machine, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
Inspect work for defects and ensures parts are made to specifications.
Maintain and repair all machinery and perform daily housekeeping.
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective eyewear, and safety shoes.
Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Perform all other duties assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and read a tape measure.
Previous CNC machine operation desirable.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Capability of understanding technical plans and drawings.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Maintain accurate work and good levels of concentration.
Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible and capable of successfully performing in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $35,500 - $44,900
