Job Posting for Painter at Imperial Realty Company
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Prep and paint (or stain) as directed. Drywall and patch work as required. Wallpaper patch or removal
Leave vacant spaces ready to show. Leave area 100% clean, vacuum/shampoo, glass, blinds, ceiling tiles, light bulbs, light lens, wipe down baseboards etc.
Provide own tools, as needed for typical job responsibilities
Demolition/carpentry as required
Assist in snow removal, salting and other grounds work as required
Mark all paint cans as to where and what date paint was used
Protect floors, use drop cloths etc.
Cover tenants furniture/equipment when necessary
·Use painters tape as needed
Remove paint from door hardware, wall base, stat covers etc.
Use proper paint—flat eggshell, semi-gloss, etc. — inquire prior to painting
Door frames are always semi-gloss
Keep brushes in good condition, clean after using
Mark painted areas with ”Wet Paint” signs
Errands as required, including picking up supplies as required
Janitorial work, if required (including but not limited to) cleaning, mopping,
shampooing of carpets, vacuuming, and glass cleaning as required
Use protective hearing, eyewear and shoes when necessary
Report any building problems to the Property Manager or supervisor
If required, respond to HVAC and other tenant complaints in a timely manner
If required, check HVAC, door lighting, time clocks and mark sign-in sheets. Minor plumbing, carpentry and electrical (bulbs, ballasts) as required. Maintain building systems such as interior/exterior lighting, thermostats, life safety equipment and building security
Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed
Check on carpet trimming and ceiling tile stains
Maintain landscaping if required
Check common areas and bathroom lighting
Check Imperial Realty properties on Saturday, if requested

Experience:
Commercial painting: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)
