The Summer Intern Associate provides undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to be introduced to the litigation consulting industry. Summer Interns work closely with teams of consultants implementing analyses to evaluate claims in litigation cases. They provide support in a variety of ways, including data collection, data analysis, and reporting.   

Requirements

• Analyzes large datasets using algorithms and statistical      programming in Python, R, Stata, or similar statistical software. 
• Performs basic and advanced statistical and econometric analyses.      
• Prepares summaries of methods, assumptions, and results of      data analysis.
• Creates tables and visuals summarizing outcomes of analyses. 
• Reviews and synthetizes documents to support research efforts      and conclusions. 
• Performs through research of academic/industry literature research      to provide support for the application of methodologies. 
• Additional      responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Working towards an Undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Basic programming skills with at least one software package (Stata, R, Python etc.) will be required. 
• Excellent-to-outstanding abilities in Microsoft Office, specifically: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Intern is a contributing member of project teams.
• Intern diligently and accurately records project time billed to clients.
