Position Summary
The Jr. Planner supports and collaborates with the strategy and development team with the collection of data and information for the preparation of case studies, brainstorms, and competitive and market audits. This position will utilize many industry and proprietary tools to gather and analyze information as part of day-to-day client projects, agency presentations, and agency reference tools.

· Explore, analyze, and utilize data information resources to uncover inputs for further analysis
· Assist senior planning team with data and information collection and will identify and develop marketing solutions and selling stories
· Extensively contribute to presentation content by running inquiries, collecting secondary information via several resource databases, online searches, and other resources to update projects that include brainstorm prep, competitive audits, and category reviews
· Own the strategic planning team quarterly publications and information sharing for both internal and external use regarding trends in grocery, retail, product categories, and other topics related to shopper marketing
· Stay abreast of trends in shopper marketing and share industry learning with agency, client(s), and external publications

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent job-related experience
- 1year of experience in brand marketing, promotion agency, shopper marketing or consumer marketing
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines

Position Summary
The Account Planner is a member of the Strategic Planning and Development team. The Account Planner is instrumental in the aggregation and initial synthesis of data and information for the preparation of case studies, brainstorms and competitive and market audits. Account planners also apply basic skill in applying research and secondary data for use in internal and external client presentations. The goal at the Account Planner level is to apply base knowledge and marketing expertise in order to begin analyzing and developing insights to support marketing programs independently.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Planning team members to meet client based assignments with regard to competitive insights, syndicated/research data analysis, and custom client research to drive creative strategy development and client shopper communications.
- Assist and contribute to the development of presentations that demonstrate the ability to “connect the dots” of research, data and information, yielding actionable conclusions that result in strategically sound marketing solutions/programs
- Stay abreast of trends in shopper marketing and contribute industry learning to agency and client/external publications.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Planning team on quarterly publications and information sharing for both internal and external use regarding trends in grocery, retail, product categories, and other topics related to shopper marketing

- Clear understanding of the creative development process
- Basic to intermediate skill in analyzing IRI, Nielsen, and other syndicated research data tools to apply and influence actionable marketing plans
- Previous direct client interaction and account management experience
