- Experienced with GibbsCAM Programming
- Knowledge with Lathes, Mills,
- CMM knowledge
- G&M Code expertise
- Determines machining instructions
- Determines the sequence of shaping operations
- Chooses the cutting tools needed
- Analyzes the job orders, drawings & blueprints
- Writes programs or modifies existing programs & set-up own jobs
- Translates instructions into CAM program
- Checks the program and runs a simulation to ensure that machines and programs operate correctly and that the products meet specifications
- Work in fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Provide a great level of attention to detail & focus on the given task
- Follow all company rules & polices, follow all safety rules & quality standards
- Work with team members to maximize productivity & efficiency
- Experience with Solidworks a plus
- Uphold all ISO & OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
- Candidate has to be a strong team player
- Candidate has to be reliable
- Knowledge of lifting techniques
- Ability to read blue prints
- ERP experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
