Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of independent contractors
- Grow and manage a strong team of contractors
- Direct and delegate tasks to internal management and associate staff
- Continuously recruit and onboard independent contractors and internal staff
- Build and maintain client relationships to enhance service quality
- Collaborate with the local sales team to explore new growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards through regular inspections/audits
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and tracking reports
- Utilize transportation analysis tools and tracking software
- Implement efficient logistics processes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Lead corporate safety investigations
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar executive role
- Background in transportation and logistics
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- BS/BA in Business or a relevant field; MS/MA is a plus
