As an Administrative Assistant with In Sync Counseling, you will enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment with our Greenbrier Administrative Staff. To our Jonesboro patients, you will be the “face” of In Sync Counseling.
Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing daily activities and office efficiency as well as managing files/records, patient check-in/check-out, scheduling patient appointments as needed, office supplies and oversee facility maintenance
- Working knowledge of medical/mental health terminology
- Medical office billing experience is a plus
- Verify insurance benefits
- Working knowledge with EMR systems and software (Scan/upload/label documents) is a plus
- Assist providers as needed
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and providers
- Communicate patient and provider concerns to direct supervisor
- Attend all mandatory staff meetings

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- College degree in related field (Preferred)
- 2 years’ experience in medical office (Preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to instill trust by gaining the confidence of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Ability to communicate effectively, providing a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences, encouraging open expression of diverse ideas and opinions, and adjusting style to fit both the audience and the message
