What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Therapist Trainee position at InBloom Autism Services?
InBloom is now offering a paid course for those pursuing or interested in pursuing a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board with full support from our own clinicians. This course offers opportunities for real-life observation periods and hands-on training with kiddos and clinicians. In addition to paid training, InBloom also covers the cost of assessments, exams, and supplementary study material. Upon successful completion of our training program and passing of the RBT certification exam, trainees may be offered a permanent position with InBloom.
Responsibilities and Duties of Our Permanent RBTs:
- Implement treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA to increase desired skills and to decrease challenging behaviors
- Work in collaboration with other team members to support each child’s success
- Provide treatment in center, daycare, home, and/or school settings
- Provide one to one direct services to kiddos and their families
- Collaborate with the BCBA team to provide insight into programming changes or suggestions
- Maintain client clinical session notes

About you: What Makes You a Great Candidate
- Early education, special education, childcare, or personal experience
- Passion for working with children and helping others
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus, but not required (Bachelor's required for TX candidates)
- Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members
