We are seeking a self-motivated Smile Design Coordinator to join our innovative, fast-paced company where we design and fabricate the InBrace® invisible orthodontic application. This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between all internal work center and downstream workflow, expedites the flow of work to ensure that Jobs flow smoothly through the work center and production area to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards. The candidate must be a self-starter who is detail-oriented, an effective communicator and collaborator and thrives in a fast-paced environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule.
- Assist with the resolution of incorrect system data, which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failure.
- Work with production supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics-driven action requirements are completed on time.
- Updates department trackers.
- Communicate with providers/Customer Experience Support team to resolve any WIP (work in progress) related issues, as needed.
- Communicate Job-status and estimated completion dates to supervisors and managers as needed.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as may be assigned.
- Assist production leadership with action item updates as required.
- Support the logistics process through the innovative staging of the workflow as required.
- Assist with Receiving and Shipping function as needed.
- Support the DHR filling system as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to Two years of experience in a production planning function or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in ERP system.
- High school diploma; Further education or certification is preferred
- Problem Solving/Analysis, Communication Proficiency, Decision Making, Collaboration, and Customer Service Skills.
- Good organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/SURROUNDINGS:
- An employee may be required to use protective clothing and gear such as gowns, shoe covers, hair covers, eye protection, and gloves as directed.
- Lifting and carrying <25 pounds occasionally; pushing and pulling <35 pounds occasionally.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
