Experience requirements signify full-time experience. Part-time work is to be calculated to equate to full-time for labor category qualification purposes. For example, “two (2) years experience in customer service” means two (2) years working on a full-time basis (on average forty (40) hours per week) with customer service as the primary duty in that work. Because many language professionals work part-time or hold multiple jobs at the same time, experience should be calculated into full-time equivalents, so four (4) years working on average twenty (20) hours per week is the equivalent of two (2) years full-time work experience. Time spent in training or primarily working as a manager shall not be included when calculating experience.
