The position will involve managing and maintaining key network infrastructure while contributing to future migrations and assisting with systems administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and maintain network devices including Juniper switches and Palo Alto firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Assist in the planned migration to Sophos firewalls
- Collaborate with system administration tasks when needed
- Provide support for on-call issues and projects requiring after-hours work
- 3 years of experience in a network and/or system administration focused position.
- Experience with Juniper (Switches) and Firewall administration/maintenance.
- Perform network management technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.
- Server work as needed such as Windows Server, VMware, or Hyper-V.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to go above and beyond
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti switches and access points, and Sophos firewalls
- Knowledge of virtual and on-premises Windows Servers
