Installation Plumber

Inception Plumbing, LLC of Kansas City, MO is looking to hire a full-time Installation Plumber to stay on schedule while performing the demolition, relocation, repiping, and new installations of DWV, domestic, and fuel piping for our residential clients. This includes removing, laying out, assembling, pipefitting, administering tests, repairing piping and fixtures, and setting finish. You will also communicate and document job progress.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Assist in performing service work when in demand and follow all Service Technician protocols by reading and learning the manuals provided. This includes responsibilities as follows:

• Perform commercial and residential service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing problems
• Listen to residential customer concerns and provide them with options (training will be provided)
• Repair, replace, and upgrade plumbing fixtures, appliances, or apparatuses per code and/or manufacturer specifications
• Thoroughly clean drains and fix any necessary piping to ensure drainage systems are functioning properly
• Repair and replace DWV, domestic water piping, and gas systems per code

The typical work schedule for our installers is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Our Plumbers earn a starting pay of $20 an hour which will be evaluated periodically based on performance and skill development. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INSTALLATION PLUMBER

• 3- 5 years of verifiable experience in new installation, remodel or service plumbing work (residential preferred)
• Knowledge of native plumbing codes with the ability to apply to installation and repairs
• You must provide transportation to and from the shop during your training period
• You must have a clean acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check/drug test upon hiring and at random
• Keep an organized, clean and safe working environment
• Continue development of code knowledge and staying up with changes or additions
• No smoking on jobs or in vehicles whatsoever or on customers property
• Must have and provide a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a Class E driver's license if needed

If you master our manuals and meet growth expectations, you'll soon move from a Junior Installer to a Senior Installer. Once there, possibly a Master Installer position and BEYOND!
