Lead Veterinary Receptionist

Incline Veterinary Hospital has an exciting new opportunity for a Lead Client Service Representative to join our reception team! We would be delighted to find someone with veterinary experience, however we are open to training someone with great customer service skills and a desire to work with animals.

This is a full-time position consisting of five 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate:

• Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Enjoys connecting with clients as well as the team
• Friendly personality and excellent customer service skills
• Remains calm in emotional, stressful, and fast-paced environments
• Committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training
• Experience in a veterinary office or other animal-related career is a plus, but not required

Some of the responsibilities of this role:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Managing multi-line phones and email
• Scheduling appointments and setting up new clients and patients
• Over the counter sales and financial transactions
• Assisting the medical staff with gentle handling and restraint of patients
• Creating staff schedules
• Monitoring hospital flow
• Resolving client disputes
• Accounts payable and receivable
• General hospital cleaning
