Summary of duties and responsibilities: The SLS Program Supervisor reports directly to the SLS Lead Supervisor (primary) and SLS Program Director (secondary) and is responsible for the following: supervising assigned SLS Staff; providing leadership, staff development, training, performance improvement, assist with ensuring that staff is following policies and procedures, in accordance with the company’s expectations. SLS Program Supervisor engages with the family of the consumer and/or any other representative on the process of intake, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation of service for the consumer.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise all assigned staff.
a.) Monitor Staff’s Execution of Duties
b.) Map client routes
c.) Perform intakes with the Supervision of the SLS Lead Supervisors
d.) Schedule staff and review staff schedules, weekly notes, time sheets and mileage forms, etc.
- Communicate with the corresponding Regional Center, Residential Facilities and Families or any other service provider or agency via e-mail, phone or in-person, on an as needed basis.
- Assist the SLS Lead Supervisors for the hiring, training, and supervision of assigned staff.
- Assist the Lead Supervisor with planning, managing, coordinating, and evaluating assigned staff efforts to achieve the programs objectives and consumer outcomes.
- Coordinating with the Regional Center on the implementation of consumer IIPP objectives for which the program is responsible.
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting on consumer progress, SLS assistance objectives, SLS Progress Reports) using weekly notes, monthly behavioral data sheets, and observation information reports.
a.) Collaborate with the SLS Lead Supervisor and Program Director to review progress and issues on all consumers’ objectives and needs of service during the weekly Supervisor’s planning meeting
b.) Conduct new hire orientation for new hires of the SLS Program
a.) Conduct monthly in-service trainings or meetings for your assigned SLS Staff.
- Report special incidents according to applicable laws and regulations per Regional Center, APS, DCFS, etc.
- Gather types of activities and assistance that each SLS staff will provide to their client, and then develop a calendar for each client illustrating the type of activities and assistance that will be implemented each month.
- Assist the SLS Lead Supervisors and Program Director in management of all SLS Program Staff
- Perform selected administrative duties in the administrative office.
Other duties and responsibilities:
- With the supervision of the SLS Lead Supervisor and Program Director, Initiate the new client’s pre-placement (intake) planning. Conducts client orientation, initial 30-day review, quarterly (if necessary), semi and annual review of individual client needs and performance under SLS.
- Coordinates and chairs the interdisciplinary (ID) team planning and meeting with Regional Center and/or other agencies for client related issues or concerns, etc.
- Assist the SLS Lead Supervisor and Program in Evaluating, facilitating and monitoring SLS services and clients progress at all times.
- Under the guidance of the SLS Lead Supervisor and Program Director, the Program Supervisor is responsible for administering Disciplinary Action procedures such as verbal, coaching and counseling and written disciplinary notices, when employee is not meeting their job responsibilities.
- Attends team meetings or other training as part of a curriculum of continuing education or any agency –wide training/in-services programs.
- Attends and participates in clients quarterly/semi-annual/annual meetings.
- MUST be available and have their phone turned ON at all times during their scheduled work hours.
- Respond to phone calls, texts and e-mails to SLS Lead Supervisor and Program Program Director within a designated period of time (less than 30 minutes during working hours and emergencies).
· Maintain a clean working environment in desk area at all times; maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and work ethics at all times; and always communicate, be consistent and act professional at all times.
· Must complete 12 hours per year of continuing education (any agency-wide training / in-services programs).
· Any other assigned duties presented by SLS Director, and/or ICS Executive Program Director(s) to assist with the accomplishment of company goals and objectives.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
