NextJS Developer

Role: NextJS Developer

Location: Boca Raton, FL (Initial remote ok)

Duration: 6 month

Next.JS

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain feature-rich web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern web development technologies
• Write clean, efficient, and modular JavaScript code adhering to best practices in software development
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance
• Implement and maintain server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation features using Next.js
• Utilize and configure various APIs and data sources to integrate them into the application
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Actively participate in team meetings, Scrum ceremonies, and discussions related to project direction and progression
• Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of web development technologies, especially as they relate to Next.js and React

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML, and CSS
• At least 2 years of experience working with Next.js and/or React in a professional environment
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and user experience design
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes in Next.js
• Experience with CSS-in-JS and CSS pre-processors such as styled-components or Sass
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members, management, and clients
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

 Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working with MongoDB
• Experience working with GraphQL, Apollo, or similar technologies
• Background in responsive design and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Experience using testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
• Knowledge of modern state management libraries, such as Redux or MobX.
