Job Description:
- Maintains synchronization of a supply chain between various organizations, customers, and suppliers by managing inventory systems, simulation, and modeling forecasting data; ordering from procurement contracts; and managing spares delivery scheduling systems.
- Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets on hand or in transit in order to optimize total supply chain planning.
- Incorporates planning decisions from external customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
- Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manages schedules for timely delivery. Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing.
