We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide quality care to our clients in Dallas, PA. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also provide support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients in their homesAssist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting help clients with ambulation and mobility as needed provide light housekeeping, such as laundry, dusting, and vacuumingPrepare meals for clients according to their dietary needs and restrictionsAdminister medication reminders as instructed by the client or healthcare providerAccompany clients to appointments, errands, and social events as needed maintain accurate records of client care activities and report any changes in their health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportationCurrent certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a state-approved training program experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferredAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing compassionate and empathetic natureStrong organizational skills and attention to detail2-step TB test within the last year Pre-employment physical exam Current CPR certificate
