What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Assistant position at Independence Title?
We are seeking an Escrow Assistant to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Basic title industry knowledge.
Utilizing and navigating through escrow and title software systems.
Clear and professional communication with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties.
Understanding a residential real estate contract.
Understanding lender documents.
Ability to perform all tasks of an Escrow Receptionist.
Inputting orders into our software.
Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
Provide wiring instructions.
Prepare loan packages for return to lender.
Order and update payoffs, tax statements and HOA documents.
Prepare receipts for all funds received from customers.
Manage office calendar and schedule all appointments.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; adapt to changing priorities and remain focused, and calm under pressure.

Salary : $40,000 - $48,000
